A downloadable roguelike for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Ravelkhi is a text-based roguelike game you play directly in the terminal. It was made in 6 days for the 7 day roguelike challenge.

Game programmed by Finley, ASCII font from regular figlet fonts, programmed in Node.js. Thanks for giving it a play!

Install instructions

Simply download the game, and click on the file of your operating system. Alternative ways of running the game can be found within the README.txt file in case the standard method fails.

thanks for giving my game a play! the colors thing is not something i have control over, that's just the colourscheme windows decided to have for their terminal. you can probably change it but i'm not a windows user so i don't know.

same with the font size and resizing the window, all of those should be possible but it differs from operating system to operating system and from terminal (emulator) to terminal (emulator).

If you can’t read the blue text, you should try using a different palette in your console. The developer has no control over what palette your console is configured to use, so it doesn’t really make sense to criticise them for that. The text is legible in my console, and in the developer’s screenshots.
